Easy Does-it Yoga
designed to serve students who are new, have little experience with yoga, or anyone looking for a gentle class. it also helps practitioners with injuries or chronic pain: backache, neck-ache, all around stiffness and tension. the teacher will guide the students to expand and utilize the full potential of their breath and will walk them through a set of easy poses: lunges, twists, back-bends, stretching etc. great for beginners.
Slow Vinyasa
students will learn a new set of postures in each class session and will pair movements with breath. the yoga instructor will explain and lead students through a flow of sequenced poses. students will learn to refine the postures and move beyond the limitations of the body and mind. some knowledge of yoga recommended.
Ashtanga/vinyasa
this ancient practice starts with the dynamic sequence of sun salutation a & b (vinyasa-based one breath, one movement). it continues with predefined poses which are held for a specific number of breaths. the students will learn to refine the ujjayi breath (diaphragmatic powerful breathing), the use of bandhas (muscle contraction) and will develop an internal heat and a general sense of calmness. some knowledge of yoga recommended.
Yoga Core
this intermediate yoga class is a combination of basic yoga postures of ashtanga with core strengthening. the class will increase strength and flexibility and will bring a sense of being grounded and balanced. some knowledge of yoga recommended.
Yin Yoga
deep tissue yoga. this class includes holding passive (seated or laying down) postures whose practice targets the connective tissues (joints) rather than the muscular tissues. yin yoga is a perfect complement to slow vinyasa, ashtanga and vinyasa. suitable for all.
